Engaged Citizens. Innovative Ideas.

Cleveland Heights

Cleveland Heights prides itself on welcoming a diverse community of residents and business owners, both natives of the “Heights” and transplants from around the globe. Our city attracts college students who enjoy living in apartments and rental units close to the campuses of Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Cleveland Institute of Art, as well as local coffee shops, independent music clubs and breweries.

Professionals enjoy its close proximity to University Circle’s academic, arts, healthcare and scientific research institutions that are accessible by foot, bike, car and public transportation.

Families with children enjoy the wide range of housing stock on tree-lined streets with close-knit neighborhoods, front porches and sidewalks, ripe for a “pop-up” lemonade stand on a hot day. Our historic parks and recreation facilities are easily accessible for all ages.

Parents of school-age children have considerable school choice, whether public, private or parochial, as well as religious institutions representing faiths from around the world.

Many empty-nesters enjoy living in Cleveland Heights’ urban-like suburb, with walkable neighborhoods to libraries, shopping, beauty salons, coffee shops, an independent movie theater — from single-family homes, retirement communities and new condo developments.

Visitors enjoy its vibrant business districts full of arts offerings (live music venues, theaters, art galleries) as well as independent restaurants, pubs, breweries, wine bars and much more.
