Now is the Best Time to Become a FutureHeights Member!
FutureHeights is determined more than ever to help our community shape a bright and sustainable future. As we celebrate our 16th anniversary this year, there’s plenty to be excited about:
- The Heights Observer is now in its 10th year as a free, invaluable source of information about community achievements, neighborhood news, and the activities in our schools, local businesses and civic organizations.
- The Heights Music Hop takes place over three days and in three of Cleveland Heights’ premiere business districts: Coventry Village (Sept. 13), Cedar Fairmount (Sept. 14), and Cedar Lee (Sept. 15). Mark your calendars for this great event.
- Our Community-Building Workshop Series engages and connects residents who learn new skills in order to develop projects that will improve their neighborhoods, and our Neighborhood Mini-Grants Program has funded 23 community projects throughout Cleveland Heights since its inception.
- As the Community Development Corporation (CDC) for Cleveland Heights, FutureHeights is working with the city to create new programs to benefit those areas most in need. As a CDC, we will increase our impact and capacity for planning, place-making and development opportunities.
Of course, along with all of the positive growth we see, there is still much work to be done to stimulate community revitalization and generate economic growth in our community, from finding ways to draw new visitors to our business districts, to attracting potential residents to consider the Heights as a great choice to live. And you can help make it happen!
Join us in working to make our community better. With your generous support, we can continue this important work. And we’re excited to share that if you join now or renew your FutureHeights membership through July 15, a generous donor has offered to match your gift.
This is a wonderful opportunity to see your contribution go even farther, so please consider taking advantage of this offer and renew your membership today!
