FutureHeights Fund Development Manager
This part-time position reports to the Executive Director. The FutureHeights Fund Development Manager fills a critical role of strategically managing our individual donor campaigns (membership and annual fund) and directing our major fundraisers (an annual benefit and chance raffle). He/she also assists with other development activities to help the organization meet its revenue goals and access the resources necessary to fulfill its mission. FutureHeights Summer VISTA
This 10-week position will take place during the summer of 2018, June 4 – Aug. 12. The FutureHeights Summer VISTA will report to the Director of Community-Building Programs. He/she will conduct outreach in target neighborhoods. See the job description and application information here. FutureHeights Full-Time VISTA
This full-time position will begin in June 2018 and continue for one year. The FutureHeights Full-Time VISTA will report to the Executive Director. He/she will develop a system to monitor tax-delinquent and tax-lien properties and partner with relevant entities, such the city and county land banks, to assist FutureHeights in developing new housing programs that will stabilize neighborhoods, reducing the housing burden of low-income residents and maintaining/increasing housing values throughout Cleveland Heights, and especially in neighborhoods suffering from disinvestment. About the AmeriCorps*VISTA program: VISTA members are passionate and committed to their mission to bring individuals and communities out of poverty. The focus their efforts to build the organizational, administrative, and financial capacity of organizations that fight illiteracy, improve health services, foster economic development, and otherwise assist low-income communities. The program is administered by the Ohio CDC Association (OCDCA), a statewide membership organization of Community Development Corporations (CDCs).
